Cutter Head (Assembly)

LM 6 Aluminum is used as a material of cutter head assembly (suitable for Italian Machines). Pressure Die Casting is preferable for such type of highly precise part because that is reducing the possibility of cavities (sauce) and other casting defects. Bevel gear and pinion required perfect center and intersecting 90 degree axis for tooth mashing. To fulfill this requirement we are manufacture the head body in 4-axis VMC machine only in one setup. Before manufacture the head we had prepared the computer 3D model to analyze how much stress and deformation took place as well as at which nodal point after mounting the sharpener over head body.
